The Hutch serves two primary purposes
First, it operates as a pickup hub for local farmers, ranchers, and food artisans who sell directly to their customers online. Vendors continue selling through their own websites, and The Hutch provides a reliable location where customers can pick up their prepaid orders.
Second, it functions as a curated retail space for businesses that create or collect goods centered around the home — things meant to be used, shared, and lived with.
Together, these two parts create a place where supporting local businesses becomes simple and natural.
Our Why
Many small producers do incredible work but face real logistical challenges.
Managing order pickups, coordinating locations, and handling customer flow can quickly become overwhelming. At the same time, customers who want to support local farms and makers often struggle with coordinating multiple pickup locations or schedules.
The Hutch was created to remove some of that friction.
By offering a shared pickup location and thoughtfully curated retail space, The Hutch helps vendors focus on their craft while making it easier for families to access the food and goods they value.
How Pickup Hub Works
Many of the food products available through The Hutch are sold directly by local vendors through their own websites.
Customers place and pay for orders directly with the vendor. When checking out, they can select pickup at The Hutch during designated pickup windows.
Orders are prepared by the vendor and delivered to The Hutch ahead of pickup. Our team organizes and holds those prepaid orders so customers can collect them in one convenient place.
A Thoughtfully Curated Space
In addition to pickup, The Hutch also hosts a small collection of vendors offering goods for the home.
These might include:
antiques and vintage pieces
textiles and home décor
party and gathering goods
handmade items
seasonal pieces for everyday living
We intentionally keep the vendor mix small so the space remains curated, cohesive, and easy to enjoy.
